Who we are

FindPlates is a UK-based independent specialist in private number plates. We are a DVLA-registered supplier, giving our customers access to thousands of personalised registrations across every style, from dateless cherished plates to current-format registrations.

We are not part of the DVLA. All registrations are sourced directly from the official DVLA database and are subject to standard DVLA transfer rules and eligibility checks.

How transfers work

Once you have purchased a registration through FindPlates, we handle all the DVLA paperwork on your behalf. A standard DVLA transfer fee applies on top of the plate price. This fee is set by the DVLA and is the same regardless of where you buy.
