1. About Us
FindPlates is a trading name of FindPlates Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 17091909). We are an independent reseller of DVLA personalised registrations and are not affiliated with or endorsed by the DVLA.
2. Using This Website
By using findplates.co.uk you agree to these terms. The information on this site is provided for general guidance only. We reserve the right to update or remove content at any time without notice.
3. Orders
By placing an order with FindPlates you are agreeing to purchase the right to display the specified registration mark, subject to DVLA eligibility rules. All orders are subject to availability and DVLA confirmation. An order confirmation does not constitute a binding contract until we have verified availability and accepted your order.
4. Pricing
All prices displayed are inclusive of our service fee. A separate DVLA transfer fee (currently £80) is payable to the DVLA at the time of transfer and is not included in the plate price shown. This fee is set by the DVLA and is payable regardless of where you purchase your registration.
5. DVLA Eligibility
The DVLA does not permit registration marks with an age identifier to be transferred to a vehicle registered before that mark was issued. It is your responsibility to ensure the plate you purchase is eligible for your vehicle. We recommend verifying eligibility before purchasing. FindPlates accepts no liability for purchases made without checking eligibility.
6. Cancellations & Refunds
Once a registration has been purchased and submitted for transfer to the DVLA, it may not be possible to cancel the order. Please contact us as soon as possible if you wish to cancel. Your statutory rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 are not affected by these terms.
7. Liability
FindPlates acts as a reseller only. We are not responsible for delays or decisions made by the DVLA in processing transfers. Our liability is limited to the value of the transaction. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses arising from your purchase.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, images and design, is the property of FindPlates Ltd. You may not reproduce or redistribute any content without our written permission.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
